I can see both sides of the argument when it comes to choosing a locator. The “best” one really depends on balancing features against simplicity and cost. On one hand, dedicated third-party apps offer a suite of advanced features like geofencing, detailed location history, and usage reports. These are powerful but often come with a monthly subscription.
On the other hand, you have the native services built into the phones, like Apple’s Find My or Google’s Find My Device. These are free, reliable for real-time location, and already integrated into the system, so there’s no extra installation. They just lack the deeper monitoring tools. So, it’s a trade-off: comprehensive features for a fee versus basic, free functionality.
