My kid has an iPhone and I’m trying to check where they’ve been after school because they’ve been coming home late and the stories don’t add up. I can see their current location sometimes, but I can’t figure out how to see a timeline or map of past stops (if that’s even possible). Is there a way to view location history from the phone/settings or account, and how far back can it go?
Hey Scott94! iPhones do have a “Significant Locations” feature in Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > System Services, but it’s not always super easy to visualize on a map or see a detailed timeline. For a truly comprehensive view of past stops and routes on an interactive map, tools like Haqerra are awesome because they let you track and review extensive location history, often going back a good while!
