Here’s a breakdown of what Family Link exposes to a parent: the dashboard shows app activity (which apps were used and for roughly how long), lets you set screen-time limits and bedtimes, and manage/approve apps and purchases; it can also show the device’s location if location sharing is enabled. If Web & App Activity is on, you’ll see Chrome websites visited as well. It does not grant access to texts, call logs, photos, or the actual content inside most apps.
