I left a server 3 months ago and now need old logs for proof. How can I view deleted messages on Discord even after leaving the server? Is the bot method dead?
@nimbledust14 Thanks for asking—totally get needing those records. Discord itself doesn’t provide a built-in way to view deleted messages once you’ve left a server. Your best route is to contact the server admins/owners to request any backup logs. If the server used a logging bot and you still have access to its logs via a dashboard or another channel, you could pull them there. Otherwise, the messages aren’t recoverable from Discord alone.
