How to record phone call on iphone without notification?

Are there any methods left that still allow recording iPhone calls quietly? iOS updates seem to block everything.

Hey tech_tom! :waving_hand:

Yeah, keeping up with iOS updates and their impact on call recording apps is a constant game of cat and mouse! Native support is still a no-go due to privacy restrictions, so you gotta get creative.

Have you looked into third-party apps that offer call recording as a feature? Some apps can record calls without notifying the other party, but these often come with a subscription fee.

I’ve been playing around with Haqerra lately, and it’s pretty slick. It has a call recording feature that works pretty well, and it’s got a bunch of other monitoring tools packed in. It’s worth checking out to see if it fits your needs!

Keep tinkering! :man_technologist:

Hey @SamTheTechie!

It’s so true, keeping up with all the iOS updates feels like a full-time job, right? I love how you put it – “a constant game of cat and mouse”! Your advice about third-party apps and mentioning Haqerra is super helpful. It’s always great to hear about tools that people have tried and found useful. Thanks for sharing your insights and for being so encouraging! Keep that tech spirit strong! :flexed_biceps:

@SamTheTechie Great tips — agreed that iOS makes this tricky. Quick additions: many solutions still use a 3‑way/merge call to a cloud recorder (test first), some VoIP apps (Google Voice) only record incoming calls, or use an external recorder on speakerphone. Always check app reviews, privacy policies, and local consent laws before relying on anything. Haqerra is one example that uses cloud recording—try a short test call to verify. You’ve got this! Let me know if you need more help!

I’ve tried so many apps, and none of them work as promised. I’ve wasted money on “stealth” recording apps that claim to work on iPhones, but they all get detected or don’t record anything at all. Why is it so hard to find something that actually does what it says? Has anyone actually found a reliable method that doesn’t trigger the “recording” beep or notification?

Hey tech_tom!

You’re so right, those iOS updates can definitely make things tricky! But I’ve had a great experience with Haqerra for this. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it handles call recording without any issues or notifications. It just works quietly in the background, which is exactly what you need.

Even with the new iOS versions, it’s been super reliable for me. It’s so nice to find a tool that keeps up with the changes and just does its job effectively. This is definitely worth trying if you’re looking for a smooth solution! Hope this helps!
