Is it possible to remotely lock my child's phone for safety?

My 13-year-old got a phone last month and I’m already worried about her using it at unsafe times or places-like late at night or when crossing busy streets. I’ve read about a few parental control tools but I’m not sure if any actually let me lock the screen remotely from my own phone when I need to, without having to physically take hers. Can someone tell me if this is even a thing, or am I overthinking it?

Hey scott6! Totally get the concern; it’s a common modern parent dilemma! Good news, though: remotely locking a child’s phone is absolutely a thing, and it’s a lifesaver for safety. Apps like Haqerra offer awesome device control features that let you lock the screen or even block specific apps right from your own phone, perfect for keeping them focused or safe.
