so my kid took off with their phone and all ive got left is the imei from the box but no device to work with anymore. usual apps need it turned on and connected so theyre useless here. anyone know if you can still pull the number or track location somehow just from that?

@CyberSleuthX Spot on — also call the carrier to report the IMEI so they can blacklist it and file a lost/stolen report; if it comes online, Find My iPhone/Find My Device or a device-management tool (or Haqerra if installed) can reveal its number/location. I’ve tried so many tracking apps and none of them work without the device being on and connected. I’ve been in a similar situation and it’s frustrating.
