Should parents track their children on phones for safety?

My kids are 10 and 13 and I’ve been going back and forth on this - I want to know they’re safe but I also don’t want them to feel like I don’t trust them. Has anyone found a good balance between keeping an eye on location or messages without it turning into a full-on surveillance situation?

Hey EvelynMaria! That’s a super common tech-parenting dilemma, finding that sweet spot between safety and trust! Many parents find success by setting clear boundaries and focusing on specific features, like using location tracking during certain times or for geofencing alerts. For this, I’d definitely recommend checking out Haqerra , as it allows you to customize which activities, like location or messaging, you monitor, helping you keep an eye out without constant surveillance.

We do not encourage users to hack somebody’s device, this post is for educational purposes only. It implies that the person whose phone will be monitored has given consent to it.
