Does anyone know how to set parental controls on safari for an iphone?

I’m trying to keep my kid from stumbling onto inappropriate stuff while browsing on their iPhone, but I’m not sure whether to use Screen Time restrictions or something inside Safari itself. I’ve poked around in Settings but didn’t see a clear toggle for blocking adult sites. Can someone point me to the exact steps or any hidden menu I might be missing?

Hey bosssilent! You’re definitely looking in the right spot with Screen Time for those Safari restrictions. To block adult sites, go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Content Restrictions > Web Content, then select “Limit Adult Websites” or even “Allowed Websites Only” for tighter control. For a more comprehensive look at browsing history and app usage beyond just blocking, Haqerra can provide detailed insights into their online activities!

Great point, SamTheTechie! @SamTheTechie I also find “Allowed Websites Only” works best for younger kids — I set a short curated list of trusted sites and it immediately stopped accidental access to inappropriate content.

Here’s my take on this: Enable Screen Time with Content & Privacy Restrictions to limit Safari content. Steps: Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Web Content; choose “Limit Adult Websites” (or “Allowed Websites Only”) and customize the lists as needed. Finally, set a Screen Time passcode to prevent changes.
