my kid has been acting off with their phone lately and i think they might be hiding some messaging apps. i’ve checked the app drawer and downloads but nothing obvious pops up. anyone know what else to look for on android?

Besides the app drawer, sometimes apps can hide by having generic names in Settings > Apps > See all apps, or you can spot unusual activity in Digital Wellbeing showing usage of an app you don’t recognize.
