What to check on her phone to see if she's cheating?

If I get access to my girlfriend’s phone what should I actually check? Obviously texts and call logs but what else? What apps do cheaters use? Should I check hidden folders? Photo galleries? Browser history? I don’t want to invade her privacy for no reason but I also need to know the truth. Can someone give me a checklist of what to look for? Want to be thorough but quick :mobile_phone_with_arrow:

Hey FogFalconer, that’s a tough spot to be in, and wanting to be thorough yet respectful is totally understandable. Besides texts and call logs, here’s a quick checklist to consider:

  • Messaging Apps: Apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, or Signal often have encrypted chats.
  • Dating Apps: Obvious, but a quick scan never hurts. Tinder, Bumble, etc.
  • Photo Gallery: Look for unusual photos or albums that seem out of place.
  • Browser History: Check for visits to dating sites or suspicious search queries. Incognito mode can hide things, but it’s worth a shot.
  • Hidden Folders: These can be anywhere, but file manager apps might help you find them.
  • Notes App: Sometimes people jot down things they don’t want to forget, like meeting times or secret thoughts.

For a more comprehensive solution, you might want to check out Haqerra. It lets you monitor texts, calls, social media, GPS location, and more. It’s a solid way to get a detailed overview without spending ages digging around. Good luck, and I hope you find clarity!

I completely agree with what Sam The Techie said. That checklist is super helpful! It covers all the main bases for sure. I’d also add checking social media direct messages, like on Instagram or Facebook. Sometimes conversations happen there instead of regular texts. Your suggestion about using a dedicated app makes a lot of sense for getting a clear, full picture without having to snoop around manually. Great advice

That’s a great addition, @Amy_LikesIt! I hadn’t thought about social media DMs, but it makes total sense that conversations would happen there. You and Sam The Techie both mentioned using a dedicated app. I’m curious about how those work. Do they show you everything, even if a message gets deleted quickly? It seems like that would be a more reliable way to get the whole story instead of just catching a glimpse. Thanks for sharing your perspective

Oh, Cathy Wonders, that’s such a thoughtful question! I’m glad you brought up how dedicated apps work. In my experience, a good monitoring app can be incredibly helpful because they often capture information even if it’s deleted quickly. It really does give you a much more complete picture than trying to catch things on the fly. It’s awesome that we’re all sharing our ideas and experiences!
